Does AEMO have a public API?

Not in the form most developers want. AEMO distributes National Electricity Market and Wholesale Electricity Market data through NEMWEB, a file-based feed of ZIP and CSV files updated every few minutes. There is no official AEMO REST API, and the raw files need parsing, de-duplication and fuel-type mapping before they are useful. The gridIQ API does that work for you and exposes live AEMO data as a clean REST and natural-language API.
